Sweden has a very pretty flag.Best Flags - TV Tropes Forum (2) It's such a lovely shade of blue and a marvelous shade of yellow. It's a shame that the five-eigths proportion is so rarely used, and it really makes the yellow middle fifth and the vertical stripe that goes from seven-sixteenths of the length to nine-sixteenths of the length stand out.

Magnificent ratios, they appeal to my eye, and that simple splash of two colours says more than an intricate and overstuffed image.

Then again, I'm totally biased, as my ancestry is Swedish.

Wales.Best Flags - TV Tropes Forum (4) Duh. Who else can brag about having a motherflippin' dragon on their flag?

The Swedes do indeed have a pretty flag, though.

I've always found the flag of PalauBest Flags - TV Tropes Forum (12) quite nice, for the same reasons as the Swedish one. Whilst looking for that link, though, I came across a flag it used to useBest Flags - TV Tropes Forum (13) that is also good — you don't get rotated stars often.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.

I'm fond of Libya's old flagBest Flags - TV Tropes Forum (17), the pre-revolutionary one. Also Norway's, because I like the colours and because of thisBest Flags - TV Tropes Forum (18).

Oh, and Mozambique of course.

Libya's old flag is so amazing! You can see the depth and the description of the nation - just by looking at it.

My favourite flag is of the EuropeanUnionBest Flags - TV Tropes Forum (20) because f*cking stars, man. That's 12 f*cking stars. No other flag has f*cking stars on their flag, arranged in a perfect circle.

But I'm biased there. Therefore, my favourite flag is that of the Spanish KingdomBest Flags - TV Tropes Forum (21) (or Spain Best Flags - TV Tropes Forum (22)) because it has that neato coat of arms on the left. That's pretty cool!

The first US flag is also better because it has one more star.
