Getaway Shootout is a challenging racing and parkour game by New Eich Games. It was released in August 2018.

The Getaway was due to have a third game coming from the London Studio and it even had a cinematic trailer dropped at E3 2006. Sadly, the game was cancelled as Sony wanted to reallocate the manpower to projects many would go on to call gimmicks, such as EyeToy and the SingStar series.

However, its 2004 sequel didn't go down nearly as well, and a third game was announced, but later cancelled. Unfortunately though, for the fans hoping that 2022 would be the series' time to shine, it seems that London Studio's upcoming title is something completely new altogether.

The General is a character in the game, Getaway Shootout. He is the character that appears in every single round, shouting ''Get to the ___! '' He is categorized as an Action character. He also appears in Rooftop Snipers as a character only unlockable through ads.

Camo Upgrade is a bonus/icon in the game, Getaway Shootout. This is seen when you do an excellent shot to someone. This means when you collect the same weapon again you used when you got the Camo Upgrade, the weapon's skin have changed.

When focusing on the main objectives, The Getaway is about 12½ Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 17 Hours to obtain 100% completion.

Getaway's founder, Jon Staff, grew up in rural Minnesota with most of his childhood spent outdoors. On the heels of a demanding startup job, Jon found himself burned out and longing for the role nature played in his youth. He quit and left the city behind in a 26' Airstream trailer to take time to reflect.

The robbery initially goes as planned, until Frank kills a security guard. Rudy kills Frank as they drive away. At the designated meeting place, Rudy tries to shoot Doc, but Doc anticipates Rudy's double-cross and shoots Rudy several times. Doc and Carol take the $500,000 (equivalent to $3.64 million in 2023) and flee.
